@bluejay Me too! I’m a little confused by the time change, so I’ll do it today, and if today was the wrong day I’ll do it tomorrow, too. 🙂
August 12, 2016 at 4:00 pm #15663@sarah-h Today is the day I’m doing it, so you are on the right day. 🙂
August 13, 2016 at 1:28 am #15690August 13, 2016 at 1:42 am #15691@sarah-h, I got about 6 – 7 chapters read, but not much time today as I was out at musical theatre all morning and we are now preparing for an Olympic themed youth group this evening at out house. So really just my normal morning devotion. Anyway, I’ll have to do it again sometime. 🙂

August 13, 2016 at 2:22 am #15694@ClaireC Sounds like you had an exciting day, though. Have fun with your youth group! 🙂

August 13, 2016 at 3:02 am #15696@clairec and Sarah-h I didn’t get any reading done to day and I’m really cross. I read a paragraph out to my sister from a different book (couldn’t really avoid it) and that was all I did. Maybe next time will be better. You two sounded like you had a great day, though.
August 13, 2016 at 3:12 am #15698@bluejay, never mind. Some days are like that. 🙂

August 14, 2016 at 1:34 am #15720@Bluejay Oh well, that’s okay. Busy days happen. 🙂 I’m looking forward to our next one. It’s fun reading the Bible and knowing that someone halfway around the world is doing it too. 🙂
August 14, 2016 at 3:14 am #15724@sarah-h. Agreed! 🙂

August 14, 2016 at 3:30 am #15726August 17, 2016 at 2:32 am #15867@ClaireC How did you do today? I was desperately tired this morning, but I did not fall asleep and I was able to stay pretty focused. Plus I was able to pray about some serious things in my life, so that was good. (Oh, I was just abut to ask you if it was hard to stay on schedule with school starting up and everything, when I remembered that your year is the opposite of ours. Your school year is at a different time than ours, isn’t it?)
August 17, 2016 at 3:04 am #15868@sarah-h, I did my hour from 4:30 – 5:30am. Yes, we start school in January. And I’m homeschooled. I’m sure there’s a lot of us here on KP. I’m mid way through writing out my reply to your questions about Aus. It’s really fun! Thanks for asking them! 🙂 😉

August 18, 2016 at 2:26 am #15908@ClaireC You’re homeschooled? Me too! What are the homeschooling laws like in Australia? Although it’s legal here, it seems like there is a bit of hostility toward it from the schools and the government, but we have the awesome Homeschool Legal Defense Association, and they help us defend our rights, etc.
August 18, 2016 at 4:21 am #15909@sarah-h, Homeschooling in Perth, WA (where I used to live), is relatively open and respected. We had a moderator who came and visited us every so often. We liked him because he gave us freddo frogs (do you have them in America? If not, you’re missing out on something! 🙂 ). Here in Brisbane is another matter though. Homeschooling is really looked down on. Anyway, we do our own thing, get a top class education, and live very contented lives. Oh, well, not always, but we try! 😉 It’s really hard for us to get into University though. 🙁 What grade are you in? I know that’s a sort of inapplicable question for a homeschooler, but some people do have grades, so I thought it was worth asking. I’m in year 10. Only 2 years to go. 😛
