Okay, one more question. I got the document, Hope, and I started reading it, only to discover that I have zero clue how to comment on a WordPad file. Help me please? Anyone who knows how or even if this can be done? I will be forever in your debt…

Hmm…well, I know how to comment with Microsoft, which is how I sent it. What are you looking at it on?

Never heard of WordPad before but it doesn’t look like an office system so it probably doesn’t have a comments option. If you don’t have an office system, get one. LibreOffice is free. If you have one, but it isn’t opening the file in that office system, right click the document in the email and then select, “open in” and select your office system.

Hum. That sounds like it makes sense. I’ll try it. And if it doesn’t work, you’ll know, because I’ll be back on here screaming for help. 😛

Also, if you can’t get comments to work, you could just insert notes directly into the text…say in red lettering or something like that.

Um…um…um… okay, I’m fiddling with it, and I’ll fiddle around until I find something to make it work. Thanks!

Oh and also, Hope, will the document allow me to write in it? Is it not specified as read only? I suppose I could always try it and see… but will it let me save anything I type in it?

It should let you write on it…and I assume you can save it. I’ve only ever worked with Microsoft; sorry if I’m not being much help. 😛

I got it to work! Thanks! Not comments, but highlighted text, so your document will be coming back to you full of red holes, Hope. 😛

So wish I could do this. Alas, I am way too busy. 🙁

I’m new here, and I’ll introduce myself properly in a little while. 🙂 I just wanted to say that I’ve had the privilege of reading King’s Armor already (twice, in fact) and it is well worth the read. Hope is an excellent writer. And, she’s an amazing beta-reader, too. 🙂

Ah, thanks, @ivy-rose. Not sure if I quite deserve it considering the earlier drafts you read…though I do (quite humbly, of course) claim to be a pretty good beta reader when it comes to plots, characters, and emotions. 😉

Oh that’s good. I may take you up whenever I need a beta reader after all, Hope.

                            I know. I’m so mercenary. 😛 🙂 😉
