@kate-flournoy Welcome to the club; people generally think Joy is older than me too. And they are always surprised when I tell them I’m 22. It’s quite fun, really. π
INTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.
October 19, 2016 at 10:36 pm #19593@brandon-miller The more you use them, the more you remember them. Honest XD
October 20, 2016 at 3:59 am #19594@Brandon-Miller Yay, another KP staff person! It’s nice to meet you. (p.s. my tag is @Sarah-h; the -oven gets deleted.) You do learn the tags pretty quickly; it’s not as hard as it seems.
October 22, 2016 at 4:45 pm #19687Hello, @Brandon-Miller! Welcome to the wonderful world of Kingdom Pen!

A pleasure to make your acquaintance.October 23, 2016 at 5:46 am #19701@brandon-miller. Welcome. I hope you love being on here as much as I do! Someone may have already asked this, but where in America are you from? @bluejay, @anna-brie, and I live Australia. That means we’re freaks to you guys. And no, we don’t walk around upside down as all the old myths said…

October 24, 2016 at 11:58 am #19731Hey @brandon-miller! Welcome to the creepatifical world of crazy writing peoples!!!!! Yes, we are all slightly off our rockers, and some of us are even in various lines of business. Speaking of that, @dragon-snapper, *taps on snout rather sharply* don’t go revealing my occupations before I do. But since you’ve blabbed already (why must dragons have so large mouths?) I suppose I must introduce myself properly. Brandon, you are reading words typed by none other than The Secret Lady of London! If you’ve never heard of me, I travel to London often for I am in Robin Hood’s Merry Band, (we are not scurvy thank you very much @dragon-snapper) a member of the League of the Scarlet Pimpernel, (that job is AWESOME!) and one of the street children of London who Sherlock Holmes and other notable people refer to on occasional occasions. If you want something done, found out, overheard, or picked up, ask us, the gutter gypsies. *bows*
Now, after that formal introduction, I must warn you never to reveal to anyone my secret identity. As my user name suggests, I also hail from Lothlorien, but that is only the place of my birth. I live there still, with Legolas Greenleaf, my adopted brother, but I am often in London. Robin, the Scarlet Pimpernel, and others I work for are very strict about secrecy. So hush hush is your motto.
And don’t feel bad, I am fairly new to KP and I have trouble with tags all the time!
And might I commend you? *commends you* You are a brave lad. If you have noticed, the ladies far outnumber the gents on here, and @Daeus is our most frequent gentleman commenter, but other than that, there are not too many courageous men who throw in their swords with us crazy lasses. So take heart in @Daeus ‘s company and keep writing! What books are you working on?ENFP - "One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane."

Yes, well, here’s my advice to you Brandon. The girls will treat you very nicely for the most part, buy you have to wear dragon proof armor at all times because they have a marked lack of protocol when it comes to making shish kabob out of people. *nods* I think you will survive.

October 24, 2016 at 12:32 pm #19741@daeus Are you referring to me? πΆπ Really, I just like to melt chairs and phones. People don’t taste very good. And besides, I’m not trying to make the population of male writers extinct.
@anne-of-lothlorien I am very, very tempted to make a shish-kabob out of you right now, speaking of which. Grr. *rubs nose* Don’t I make it a point to tell people not to tap the glass? Either way, sorry… I’ll just go eat some ice cream *sniffs and sits alone in the corner*… π€ (Robin Hood doesn’t hunt dragons does he? If so, let him know that I offer my most sincere apologies for calling you scurvy.)β β β ENFP β β β
October 24, 2016 at 12:39 pm #19746@dragon-snapper My peculiar sense of sarcasm is not limited to rules or sensibility. If you’d like an explanation, there’s this article I stumbled upon about Elizabeth Bennett that freaks me out with its parallelism. (first section only important part) https://mbtifiction.com/2014/10/01/elisabeth-bennett-enfj/

October 24, 2016 at 4:50 pm #19759@daeus Ah, it’s fine. *waves talons passively* Sarcasm is found in many forms, (as everyone who’s read Ranger’ Apprentice knows: thanks Halt) No need to explain. π π (dragons understand people quite well, actually) π

October 26, 2016 at 4:40 pm #19868@Daeus that’s good to know. π
@anne-of-lothlorien Thanks for the welcome and that’s all good to know! I’m working on all of the books. And none of them. For NaNo I’m going to try and finish a Sci-fi I started a while ago called Beta Sun. We’ll see.October 27, 2016 at 4:01 pm #19891Anonymous- Rank: Eccentric Mentor

@brandon-miller Welcome to the forum Brandon! *Leaps on stage, black cape swirling, realizes she is extremely late* *sheepishly coughs and mutters an apology* Hope you haven’t been scared away by all the craziness and strange words (ahem @Dragon-snapper). π
So you are going to do NaNo too? I wish you the best of luck π
Oh yeah, and I had trouble with tags as well when I first got here, so you aren’t the only one.
See ya around!

Hi!
Scared away by the craziness? lol. It’s not my first rodeo. And the strange words are great. (Okay, maybe not but still funny.)
Yeah, I’m NaNoing. SUPER excited. You?

@Brandon-Miller Yes I am extremely excited about NaNoWriMo (well, tomorrow π ).
Two questions: What word count are you going for and are you an outliner or a pantser? -
