Just so you know, there’s an 85% percent chance I will not be participating in this art challenge. My art mood has kinda dilapidated.

A couple of quick questions.
- Does Friedrich, as a prince, ever train with a sword? If so, what type of sword?
- What is the heraldry of Friedrich’s kingdom?
Yes, Friedrich does train with a sword. I thought I described it already…. Let me go take a look.
Ok, yes, silver hilted when he’s a prince, and gold hilted with a sapphire settings when he’s a king. I wish I could send a picture of the stile.

Ok, this would be what I patterned his sword off of! The sapphire setting (if you’re drawing him as king.) would be in the guard, (bar going horizontally over the blade) The crest of Arvandell was carved into the pommel, but that’s getting into some seriously tiny detail.
Heraldry for his kingdom. Okay, give me a second to find it.

Ok, here is the heraldry. It’s complicated, just to warn you. I wouldn’t even attempt to etch it on the hilt. lol. I can’t find the updated version where I changed the sword on the inside and the edges of the shield to gold. It must have been lost the lasst time my laptop crashed.

Thank you for the info. I’m nearly done with mine, (I just procrastinated. I always work better when the deadline is close.) I will try to get the drawing to you tomorrow.

I’ve been attempting to work on a drawing specifically for him for like two or three days, and everything I’ve tried I’ve ended up erasing. I’m sorry, I don’t think I’m gonna be able to do a drawing special for him. But I have a character with no name that I drew not too long ago who kinda fits the description.
I know he looks sunburnt and the shading is off (I had a little fiasco I was trying to cover up) and it’s modern, but I’m gonna enter it anyway so that you have at least three pictures to choose from. I’ll keep trying to draw Prince Friedrich but for now, this is my entry.
