It’s time to vote now. No need to vote, but I assume you want to. We have some nice options to choose from. Just like last time, you have three votes. Your first pick gets three points, your second two, and your third one point. The book with the most points wins. (Unless I think and get confirmation that it breaks the following criteria in a significant way) Our criteria are these: The book shouldn’t be too long, it should have a writing style that we think we can learn a lot from either about what to do or what not to do, it should be fairly accessible (i.e. likely at a library).
Here are our options:
Sign Of Four (Sherlock Holmes)
Treasure Island
The Hobbit
Charlotteβs Web
Ender’s Game
Through The Looking Glass
Abandoned
Dessert Dog
The Scarlet Letterπ’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’

June 20, 2016 at 4:34 pm #14260Here are my picks:
1. The Hobbit
2. Ender’s Game
3. The Sign of FourJust wondering, @daeus , why The Sign of Four? It’s good, but it’s not the first book of the Sherlock Holmes Series. Since some of us may not have read the first book, A Study in Scarlet, that might be a better pick. It truly introduces the characters.
Sorry if I’ve been a little distant lately. Been super busy! π
June 20, 2016 at 4:36 pm #14261@overcomer Study of four was recommended by (I think Greta). We’ll continue with it, but if it wins, I suppose we might put it to question whether we want to do an earlier one instead.

June 20, 2016 at 4:45 pm #14262That would be cool, @daeus . I don’t really mind for myself since I’ve read them all already, (several times π ) but I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on getting the best first impression, you know? (unless it doesn’t matter to them) Plus the first one is pretty good!
