Hello Fellow Humans.
Hi.
Whats up.
Hows your guys’ christmas’s going.
So… a little about me:
My name is…well, you may call me M.K..
I live in Central Ohio; the weather right now. So christmassy.
I have three siblings. I’m the second youngest.
I have been homeschooled my entire life. Currently in 10th grade and also have 25 college credits, working on a Bachelors.
Soooo yea. I love reading and writing, though the only time ive ever completed a book was for NaNoWriMo 2014, which I finished with some 52,000 words. I mainly write poetry and songs nowadays.
Anyways, I’ve been on this site (creeping your guys’ posts ^~^) for a few months now, but just finally got around to creating an account.
This thing told me to start HERE (sounds like its a little frustrated; like its had a few people start in the wrong spot. Start HERE. *glares at newbie intimidatingly while pointing at the forum* ) so yea HERE I am.Feel free to ask any questions. If you have any. If you dont, then…dont ask any, I guess.
~M.K.
December 23, 2015 at 10:31 am #8108Dang, what happened there at the end… HEY LOOK, IT ITALICIZED ITSELF! ALL BY ITSELF!
Right. OK fine. I must have messed up lol. *facepalm*
Ruined my moment. Figures.December 23, 2015 at 10:42 am #8109Hey M.K.,
Welcome to the most bestistest place on the internet. It’s great to have you.
Sounds like we have a lot in common. I mean, come on, we’re fellow humans. That’s pretty sweet.
But actually, I live in central OH too, and I write poetry, so that’s quite a lot.
And congratulations for starting here. That’s something I probably should have done myself.

A hearty welcome! And Daeus is right, this is the bestistest place on the internet and we’re so glad you decided to (stop creeping the posts:) ) and join in!
Oh and your moment wasn’t ruined at all, it was made special. π
Yay for NaNoWriMo! What was that novel about?

December 23, 2015 at 11:01 am #8111Daeus believe it or not, I’ve seen you in real life before. lol. Like at different events. Including the recent Celtic Ball. Your dad was actually talking to my dad at the end of it. Big coincidence.
Annddd btw I’ve read most of your guys’ blogs lol. So I’ve read a lot of your poetry, and.. wow. I think I should have called mine scribbles instead of poetry. Youve got a ton of talent bro.December 23, 2015 at 11:11 am #8112Rolena, ya I agree that this is the bestistest (????? sounds like something I would say lol) place on the internet…and I’m just gonna say it… you all are really interesting people to creep. lol.
And the novel sucked tbh. It was extremely rushed lol. But yea it was a fantasy adventure book about wild cats. It was fun to write tho.btw how to you respond directly to a reply..? Like would you do @Rolena?
December 23, 2015 at 11:27 am #8113**do. lol.
December 23, 2015 at 11:39 am #8114Hey M.K. So you’ve been stalking me in real life too! I’m going to put that on my resumΓ©: stalked by someone.
The celtic ball is fun. Anyone else going this spring? We could have a writer’s social. That would be purty sweet.
How you mention someone is by clicking one their profile (the little link under their picture). They will have this little @address-thingy that you can copy. Then just click the back arrow on your browser and you will be brought back to the post you were about to make (none of it will be lost) and then you can just copy and paste that @address-thingy and tada! You just mentioned someone. Sometimes their @address-thingy is the same as their name (mine is), but sometimes it will be different. For instance, your are M.K., but your @address-thingy is @mas410.

December 23, 2015 at 11:45 am #8115Welcome, @mas410! Welcome welcome welcome!
I knew I’d been having a creepy feeling of being followed these last few months…
But this is the bestistest place on the internet. In my humble opinion. I don’t blame you at all for stalking it. π
I live in Southern Ohio, and love poetry too, though I don’t have the level of skill it takes to actually call myself a poet. π
Do you write the music for your songs too, or just the lyrics? And what do you like to write poems about?December 23, 2015 at 12:22 pm #8119Welcome to the Kingdom Pen kingdom, MK! Always great to have someone else to bounce stuff off of. π
Glad we are so interesting to stalk. π
Gosh, I had no idea how prominent Ohio natives were on here. Well, I know I shall have quite a bit of fun if I ever visit the state. Though it is a long way from my personal soggy swamp of a homeland.
I agree that we are the bestistest. That should be a forum header or something.December 23, 2015 at 12:22 pm #8120@daeus thanks for explaining that. I shoulda known how to do that, lol.
And I’m pretty sure I’ll be at the spring ball.December 23, 2015 at 12:28 pm #8122@kate-flournoy lol thanks for the tri-welcome.
There seem to be quite a few ohioans on this site. Kewl.
And I write song lyrics, not notes. Though I do hear the tune in my head lol.
My poems are all written in either first or second person. They basically are a way for me to get my emotions on paper. So theyre very dramatic lol XD. I’ve tried writing poems about like other more creative poetic stuff but it never works for me.
How bout you? What type of poems do you write/read?December 23, 2015 at 12:35 pm #8124@writefury thanks!
And ya, what I think is interesting is, two of the ohioans on here, I’ve seen in real life lol! Big coincidence!
We of Ohio shall take over the world with our writings. Mwuahahaha.
Bestistest. I love that word now.by the wayyy your blog is really cool π XD
December 23, 2015 at 12:38 pm #8125Ooh… that’s a tough question. My absolute favorite poet of all time is J.R.R. Tolkien. He’s slightly famous, though not necessarily for his poetry. π
I love just about every kind of poem there is, though I tend to gravitate to sagas and ballads more than anything else.
As for what kind of poetry I write— well, it’s kinda difficult to describe, so here I’ll show you.
That’s pretty much what type I write, though I occasionally try my hand at other forms. I like writing poems to get an idea across— a certain emotion, or a certain wonderful thing I noticed about Christianity, or an incongruity in some secular world-view. π
It’s kinda weird, actually. πDecember 23, 2015 at 7:29 pm #8130@kate-flournoy Wow youre really good!! That’s awesome!
