I have a new goal for myself to try writing for half an hour every day. I want to work on my projects but it is very hard to find the motivation to do so. I am not at all a disciplined person with my time and it is very hard to do something that I want to do when there’s no external pressure from anybody else.
So, I was wondering if anyone on here would be willing to consistently ask me every week if I accomplished my writing goal? It seems like a little thing, but it would be incredibly helpful. I have tried to have my irl friends and family do this with me, but they are either as forgetful as me or too busy.
So would anyone want to be my accountability partner for this? I will give you my eternal gratitude and also this virtual cupcake ?

As someone who is very invested in your projects, you don’t have to ask twice. I would love to pester you about Inky world and Paper Stars. I need them to exist. I mean, technically they don’t have to exist, but I would be excited if they did.

I don’t have any word count goals. I just need to write 30min a day. Except maybe Sunday. I’ll keep Sunday optional. And writing for role plays doesn’t count. Also, I’ll share some snippets when I finish things. Probably not so much of Paper Stars, but definitely some Inky scenes. :]

…I mayyy have gotten a bit distracted by my new crochet hobby this week. I only did like 40 minutes of outlining. :/
BUT I will do BETTER this next week! Probably!

It’s been going kinda good. My original goal of half an hour is still not happening at all, but I’m still doing a lot more than I used to. Keeping my writing glasses and journal and outline cards by my bed has helped a ton. I figured out a huge chunk of my inky project just now and changed the magic system yet again. It’s turning out to be a very dark story, but I’m happy with it, lol. I think I actually have a bit of a plot now.

It’s been a week already?? I haven’t done anything except for last night. I tried doing some outlining for Paper Stars and ended up cutting out half the plot and getting rid of the villain. It was necessary but felt like a huge step back. *grumpily munches on chocolate*

Eh… Drafting fast is hard. I’ve never been the kind of writer who can resist the urge to edit, but that’s what I need to do.
