      @elizabeth-hearten Hello and welcome! I’m Caitlyn or @booksandbeakers. I like fiction, short stories and my Heavenly Father and Jesus!

      Hebrew sounds cool! I do Latin. A few questions…

      1. Favorite time period in history to learn about (if you have one)?

      2. Favorite book of the Wingfeather Saga?

      3. Have you seen the TV show for the Wingfeather Saga yet???

        @ester-c

        Thank you for your welcome!

        Hebrew is a little hard, but mostly just for the first week or so, while you’re learning a new alphabet and learning to read from right to left. After that, it’s not much different from any other language!

        I’m learning via Duolingo, by the way, which makes everything easier. I also love their French lessons. I’m probably the only person on earth who will accidentally stick a random Hebrew word into a French sentence, though!

        1. The only vacation spot I’ve ever spent a significant amount of time in would be Perdido Key, Florida. It’s lovely, and right near the state park!

        2. I prefer chocolate to fruit flavored candy, but if I had to choose, probably Starbursts. But only the red ones!

        3. There are many aspects of many time periods I love, especially the 1700’s, but I am very grateful to live in the time and place that I live. I can’t really imagine living else-when!

        I, too, have longed to write a ya dystopian, but I couldn’t get my first act together, so I never made it to the dystopian part! May you have better luck and firmer perseverance!

          @lightoverdarkness6

          Yes, I cried myself to sleep the night I finished WS…

          *sigh*

          1. Can I meet Jesus in this hypothetical?! I’m not sure what I’d ask him, I think I would suddenly forget whatever I wanted to ask. I’d like to meet Tom Hanks and ask for acting advice, he has more range than any actor I can think of, though I have no idea if he’d be the least bit inclined to answer such a question, I’m sure he gets it all the time. And I’d like to meet C.S. Lewis and ask what exactly makes his writing so good… It’s like he knows something I don’t, and I want to know what!

          2. Not many of my characters are very much like me, actually, but there is a girl in my wip named Ruthie that we Myers-Briggs typed the same as me.

          3. My favorite character to write is easily a character my cowriter game me the idea for, named Gaspard Badeux, who is a kooky Galian (our version of French) artist, but he’s full of weird wisdom. I love him.

          Thank you for the welcome!

            @booksandbeakers,

            1. I really enjoy learning about the Revolutionary War period, in American History!

            2. Ooh… Probably Monster in the Hollows, even though it’s so tragic I can barely stand to read it.

            3. I have!! It’s amazing, so far!!

              Nice to meet you!

              You too! 🙂

              Your wip sounds cool!

              I get that! I call my story fantasy at times because it’s not necessarily set in our world and there are different plants.

              3. Favorite music would be hard, but my favorite bands are The Arcadian Wild and The Gray Havens, and my favorite composer of classical music is Claude Debussy.

              Those sound familiar, I’ve definitely heard Debussy before.

              4. The Florid Sword, hands down.

              Aha! Good choice lol. XD

                @elizabeth-hearten Hey! Welcome! I’m Felicity, homesteading writer and follower of Jesus! That’s so neat that you’re learning Hebrew. My sisters are learning it in school. Have you ever heard of the Messianic Israeli band called Miqedem? We really like some of their songs.

                He must increase, but I must decrease.

                  @felicity

                  No, I have not heard of that band, but thank you so much for the reccomendation! All Google would give me was סולו (Solu) and Joshua Aaron, so I’m excited to hear about a new one!

                    @elizabeth-hearten   I hope you enjoy them! They sing in Biblical Hebrew so it’s a bit different than modern Hebrew. They are on Bandcamp and Amazon music and their website. 😉
