I hope you don’t mind me putting them in the same class, but I had another scene idea…

Nyx wanted to skip class, that much was clear. He frowned slightly and traced the leaf on his shirt collar. “Geometry? I have that also.” He glanced at Almarrin.
“Psychology of aggression.” The grey eyes were smiling.
“Ai! Well then, here we part. Galu, no veren!” Good bye, be joyous! He gripped the young man’s arm for a moment, then let him go.
“Novaer.” Be good. Almarrin turned and walked away, his long strides taking him out of sight in seconds.

The class was considerably smaller than yesterday’s. Apparently more students had the idea to skip than just Nyx. Inglor shifted slightly at his desk. Out in the hall he had almost forgotten where he was. Now inside a closed classroom with seventeen other class mates…he could hardly blame them.
The teacher walked to the front of her classroom, a bright smile on her face and a large thermos of some strong smelling drink in her hand (Coffee).
“Good morning class!” A rumble of varied replies greeted her.
She took role call, then began a lecture on lines and angles. At it’s end thirteen notes had been passed, and one student had fallen asleep.
“Now class, we have a special activity for today, for which we get to use the protractors.” She started passing out the small half circles. “Multiply your age by two, then draw an angle of that degree.”
Inglor carefully set the tool, and drew a 100° angle. Hmm, probably the only obtuse angle in class.
“Now class, all of your angles should be…” The teacher’s voice stopped over his desk. “…acute. Inglor, what did you do?”
He tapped the end of his fountain pen against the paper. “Multiplied my age by two and drew an angle.”
“Are you fifty?” Low laughter circled the room.
“Yes madam.”
Silence. Then-
Nyx turned around, eyes wide with horror. “And you’re still in highschool?!”
A cup of tea is cheaper than therapy.
