Hello, sorry that this letter is coming in late, but I also have a question.
It’s interesting that a villain (if not the main villain) act like a parent to a kid or hero character (if not the main hero). I’ve seen examples like this in Thanos to Gamora (from Avengers: Infinity War, although I’ve seen their father-daughter relationship through clips of the movie on Youtube) and Shrike to Hester (from Mortal Engines, also through watching clips of their father-daughter relationship on Youtube).
I kind of like the idea of involving that kind of that character in the story, but not too sure if I should involve that kind of character. What if a foster-parent figure in the story takes in a good character but is corrupt, but later repents in the end? I even remember seeing more than one clip of the Snow Queen Ingrid’s relationship with Emma Swan from Once Upon a Time, and how Ingrid was Emma’s foster mother and wanted to make Emma and Elsa her sisters to complete her own family after what happened in her past between her and her sisters, one of them being Elsa and Anna’s mother.
