@catwing So, I remember you saying that you were going to try to publish this fall. How’s that going? I haven’t finished reading, but my computer died, NaNoWriMo happened, and I’m only now getting back on KP, so please forgive meeee!
*cough*I said fall?*cough* …Me getting waaaay ahead of myself… You don’t need to worry… Okay, so I’ve realized that it’s going to be a while before a publish this book, cause I need to edit it. And make it better, figure out a few times for it (cause I scrapped the first few chapters and am cutting down on the number of POVs). But now I know more what I need to do and how that can play out(rounds of editing…). Something I have learned recently when going to a writer’s conference is I don’t have rush myself to publish it before I graduate(which is next year *panic rises*What is happening?! How am I graduating already?!). I need to publish when I finish and it’s ready. It’s kind of a good thing that I didn’t finish this edit and was slogging through, cause otherwise I think I might have tossed my book out there and rushed everything and it wouldn’t have been pretty… Or the best I could do… So don’t feel so bad. You’re not too late. You’re actually kind of on time… 😀
I had to take a break from that book to work on the sequel for Nano cause it wasn’t going anywhere. So I was busy in Nano too. And other life stuff. 🙂
But now that Nano is over I am deciding whether to edit this book or write more of the sequel. I think I’m going to work on both so that editing doesn’t kill me… 😛
In short, I’m figuring things out and rushed ahead of myself. I am not publishing yet. But I plan to edit Finding Secrets while writing Starting Fires.
