    Hello!
I saw that you mentioned something about doing Beauty and the Beast? Are you in drama? *excited squeal* I have been doing drama the last four years through our homeschool co-op and love it! What shows have you done (and who have you played?) 🙂

    • Howdy!
YES! I love drama! I was recently in a completely original stage version of Beauty and the Beast, and I played a very flirtatious seamstress named Madame Claudet. That was a ton of fun. I’ve also played Cosette in Les Miserables (sorry not the musical) and I had a role in Oscar Wilde’s Lady Windermere’s fan. I played Lady Plymdale in that show. I’ve also done countless productions through church from Christmas plays to VBS skits. I’m hoping I can pursue drama a little in college. What shows have you done?

      • @christi-eaton Awesome! The high school class at our homeschool co-op did Les Mis last year ago (they did Much Ado about Nothing this year which was a lot of fun to watch!) with the same drama teacher that I have. All the drama classes at the co-op are taught by her. 🙂 One of the other drama classes did Beauty and the Beast last year and that was a lot of fun to watch as well!
I was in a play called the Follower (a story based on the life of Peter in the Bible) when I was 8 through our church and loved that. At our co-op I have done 6 shows over the last few years. I played the Matron in the fairy tale The 12 Dancing Princesses (I loved that, as it was in castle times. I am really interested in the Middle Ages, and love to write books set in my own world with castles, kingdoms and sword fights, while incorporating truths into the story.) I also played Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, (the first half 🙂 ) Jafar in Aladdin (it was SO fun to be the villain!) the housekeeper in The Sound of Music, a character in Godspell, and most recently the narrater in Peter Pan. (We just did our shows in May.) I am excited to continue doing drama! I also love telling Bible stories, and put together a short play with some friends on the book of Esther a couple years ago which was really fun! What was your favorite role to play out of the shows you’ve done? 🙂 (Thank you for answering my questions.) 🙂

Hmmm…favorite role….probably Madame Claudet in Beauty and the Beast. I had a blast with that outrageous character. Though I loved my costumes with Cosette. I had the most beautiful wedding dress. Ohh I love the idea of doing Esther. We are studying that at church right now. Sounds like you are having a great time in theatre! Good luck on all of your future shows. (Oh and if I don’t respond it’s because I’m leaving tomorrow and will be away from any internet access for a whole week)
          😀
