I was just thinking about Good Friday, and Jesus’ sacrifice for us on the cross. I just can’t fathom the pain He went through…I don’t know if I’ve ever really thought about it that much; I sort of took His suffering for granted. Yeah, we all know He had nails hammered through His wrists and feet…but when I think about it again, He actually had pieces of metal pounded through his flesh and bone to hold his body to the cross! Why would someone do that for me? Answer: eternal, amazing, unfailing, incredible LOVE! Thank you, Jesus, for freedom…
