Summer is in full swing, and I am planning to outline Project Chrysanthemum before the school year begins anew…
I also want to go all out on getting ahead. We’re going through music theory, but since I’m already in piano, that should be a no-brainer. Catch up in Latin studies, math, and annotate a huge history tome we ordered recently.
I also want to pick up a few new hobbies (while I’m still a teen XD), such as digital drawing, cooking, playing guitar, fixing my bike, and planting at least one terrarium.
There you are. An adequate update. 🙂

How long have you been playing guitar? I just picked up mandolin.
I haven’t picked it up yet XD Still PLUCKING up the courage… But my dad started up mandolin recently, and it sure looks rough on the fingers. Good luck! An ambitious choice 😋
Lol, nice pun. I’ve been FIDDLING around off and on with the violin since 3rd grade, and it’s tuned the same as a mandolin, so I mostly comprehend it. This past Sunday I got to play up front on the worship team with my brother. On one of the songs I felt like I got to play for the Lord with my whole being– the concentration of playing the notes on time, keeping a rhythm of finger picking, trying to make it loud, and singing at the same time. That was super cool. That’s how I was meant to sing for Jesus!! (That was also the first time I had hard lines impressed in my fingers from playing.) Do you play any other instruments right now?
Ah, yes, you were TUNING into your identity as a princess of the heavenly kingdom… I’m sure your song was breathtaking. Not because of skill or performance, but because it meant something!
I’ve been playing piano for maybe five years? I’m used to playing classical stuff for competitions though, not for worshiping. We have a lot of pianists at our church XD
