A while ago you were loving another KP member and shared that you sometimes have trouble forgiving yourself. I wanted you to know that I’m proud of you for encouraging the other member and supporting her. I also wanted you to know that you are not alone.

I am so thankful that I have never seen it to be the character of God that He would storm and say, “No, My grace is sufficient for everyone but you. It’s over.”

The enemy is sneaky with his lies. But his logic is proven flawed when we have God’s Word telling us the true character of our Lord.

Though I beat myself up a lot, I have experienced tons of love from family and friends, but I will not experience more love from those powered by God’s love than what I will experience straight from the Source. God’s grace is sufficient for everyone, me included.

And you too; there is grace from God sufficient for you too. If you are still alive today, you can be restored, whether for the first time or just all over again. Jesus died for you, to restore you to the Father, and to bring you into His Kingdom. If you think God will soon give up on you, or that no road can take you from where you are back to righteousness, that’s not true. God so loved you that He gave up heaven, lived as Jesus, died, and rose to life to rescue us.

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing,
will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:38-39)

And now, like Paul, I have confidence in this very thing: He will perfect the good work begun in you and me until the day He calls us home. He won’t give up on what He’s begun. Let’s walk in the true grace and character of our Lord until then.
