I have a question for the Kingdom Pen Forum.
I’m working on a book series, but they are mainly chapters that might be in the second or later books. And I have many ideas. Among them happens to be one where gargoyles could be involved. I got inspired by Disney’s Gargoyles series. But I’m trying to understand if it’s the right thing to do. Bryan Davis put dragons in his own series, both good and bad, and they are well-known. I used to have somewhat of the whole Dragons in Our Midst series. I hope that is not being seen as offensive since I used him as an example, but I don’t want to feel like I’m being sacrilegious. And how do I involve genres such as Christian allegory, fantasy, adventure, mystery, and battles between good and evil in one series, if I write more than one book (and try to involve the genres in it)?
