Hi Issabelle! So sorry, it has been awhile! XD I’ve been doing well; how have you been? Lately, I’ve been trying to work on my WIP (it’s a middle grade fantasy) and write serial stories for kids. I’ve also been gardening, hiking, and just recently started geocaching with my family. What have you been up to lately? How’s your writing going? Any plans for the summer?
Ooo yeah, I almost forgot to mention! *drumroll*…. My sister and I have launched a children’s blog!! Turns out, a lot of homeschooling moms are looking for safe stories for their young kids, so my sister and I have been writing stories and comics for them. (and since I love kidlit, it’s right up my alley!) So we’ve also been busy trying to learn the ins and outs of blogging, but I think we’ve found our sea legs… hopefully XD We’ll see how it goes.

That’s okay, I know we’ve all been busy. Just wanted to check and see how life’s going, y’know. Oooh, that sounds EXCITING!!!! What’s your story about? How far into it are you? Do you plan to publish it? Oooh, that sounds like soooo much fun!!!! Eh, not much. Classes just let out for me, so I’m ready for my much-needed vacay XD. Kinda just hanging in there right now. (Yes, my life is so utterly boring.) It’s been going a lot better than I thought it would! I just wrapped up Heir to His Crown and have been editing it/sending it to my betas. I’m also about 30% into my next novel, so yep. There’s that. 😉 I don’t really have any plans, just gonna chill and read sixty novels and write three books. XD (Yeah, I don’t think my plans are gonna work out QUITE as I hoped. XD) What about you? Any plans? Got any summer reads?

As for my WIP, I’m on the 5-6ish draft (going through ch. 5-10 again) and it’s a MG fantasy story about a brother and sister who find a lost phoenix. I’m hoping to Indie publish someday.

Yikes! Sixty novels and writing three books? You’re gonna be busy! I wish you the best of luck. (funny thing about plans; they’re like your story characters where they turn out completely different than what you intend XD.) As for me, I’m thinking of doing some research on the Vietnam war era for this story idea; so yeah, probably reading books on that time period for summer (yeah, I’m super fun lol.)
