And so.... once again another month passes, and a new month begins.

We wrapped up our last theme of the month, and now it's time for a new one! This month, we will be covering....

Crafting Formidable Villains

As they say, the hero is only as good as the villain. Without a strong villain, there is no struggle for the hero. And without struggle, there is no challenge or growth for the hero. And, not to mention, it makes for a tensionless and boring story.

So this month, we hope to help KeePers write villains and antagonists that throw seemingly insurmountable obstacles at the hero, yet make them believable and memorable enough so that they are compelling. And in the end, inspire change and growth on the hero’s part, and help create an impactful and memorable story overall.

Some topics you can look forward to this month are...

  • How to write a genuinely terrifying villain
  • Top mistakes that make your villain seem weak
  • How to write a villain redemption arc
  • How to add complexity to your villain
  • How to make your villain sympathetic
  • .... And more!

In the meantime, check out some of these articles from the Kingdom Pen archive!
