Happy New Year KeePers of Pen! I hope your year so far has been filled with lots of writing, good books, big mugs of hot cocoa, and maybe even a few dangerous quests to overthrow dark lords!
Today, we will be announcing the first theme of the month for 2021! This month, we will be focusing our articles on:
Humor in Fiction
Some topics you can expect to see are....
In the meantime, keep writing and keep creating art that serves the True King!
Also, let us know in the comments:
Han Solo is one of the few that comes to mind. He is a complicated character with a past clearly marked by pain and fending for oneself, but instead of a brooding character(like his son)(but I still like Ben. I just wish he didn’t HAVE to have such unclear motives/past), he constantly wise cracks and is realistic while still being hilariously snarky.
Riley Poole from National Treasure is probably my favorite, closely followed by Benji Dunn from Mission Impossible and Rudi Gunn from Sahara.
M-bot from Skyward is hilarious. And K2-SO from Rogue One. I love the funny robots.
This looks exciting! Hmm…I’m trying to think. Perhaps, if he counts, Tristan Farnon from All Creatures Great and Small.
I don’t know. I like any character that can make me laugh but has a good story to him. An example would be Keefe from Keeper of the Lost Cities, or virtually any of the newer Star Wars droids–Chopper, K-2SO, that kind of thing.
