Guys I need help.
I need to write thank you letters to the people who have submitted donations for the mission trip I’m going on this summer, but I have no idea how. Any suggestions?
May 15, 2018 at 4:52 pm #72611@silverclaw-bonnetfolly Ooh, where are you going? (if you don’t mind me asking 😉 )
Well, I would suggestion starting by thanking them for their donation, tell them how much it blessed you to have them contribute. Make it personal; people like that. Maybe mention what you hope to accomplish on this trip, then the contributors kinda know what they’re supporting and they’ll feel good about it.
I hope this helped 🙂

Jen Writer has some great tips, and my only word of advice would be not to worry about the length of the thank you letter as much as the content. Personally, I think it’s better to have less (but well written) content than a bunch of stuff for the sake of just having more.

@jenwriter17 I will try.May 16, 2018 at 10:41 am #72718@silverclaw-bonnetfolly I would say expressing how their donation helped you and what you are going to do with it is good, like Jenna said. Having it simple and grateful is going to be a lot better than a cheesy flowery speech. Also, choosing/making a nice card can help tell them that you value their support. Did you post this topic on SE? They might give you some advise, too.
"In a mask, was he?"
May 17, 2018 at 1:48 pm #72807I didn’t think about possibly making cards, but it’s a good idea. No I didn’t post it on SE.
Thanks for the advise!
