Regarding Kingdom Pen Radio
Hey all,
We just wanted to give a brief word concerning the current status of Kingdom Pen Radio. The particular podcasts that have been presented here as Kingdom Pen Radio have undergone a name change to more accurately reflect their unique and independent nature.
The basic reason for this is that one of the defining aspects of Kingdom Pen has been its submission and review system. In order to get published, everyone, including our editor-in-chief, needs to go through the submission, review, and approval process before a piece of work is published. When the podcast was originally started, we failed to formally put a system in place to graft Kingdom Pen Radio podcasts into our existing submission and review system.
When we began to try to incorporate the podcast into that process, we realized that there was a conflict of vision and goals since some wanted Kingdom Pen Radio to be limited to podcasts produced from a single source and excluded from the standard review process. Both parties did try to work out a compromise and explore alternate review systems for the podcast, but we couldn’t find one that was suitable enough to all parties. Because of this, the Kingdom Pen team as a whole agreed that the best option would be to make the podcast independent from Kingdom Pen. This way, the podcast will have the freedom to do whatever it wants, but Kingdom Pen will be able provide a platform for a variety of podcast sources and apply a consistent review process for all content it promotes.
As long as episodes continue to be submitted, we’ll seek to feature them on Kingdom Pen. The only difference is that the podcast will have its own name, and is a separate entity from Kingdom Pen and Kingdom Pen Radio going forward. In addition, Kingdom Pen Radio expects to provide a variety of audio-based content in the future and hopefully some of it will be created by you!
If you would like to submit a podcast episode to us to feature on Kingdom Pen Radio, just follow our publication guidelines and email us your submission at Kingdompenmag@gmail.com!

So, to clarify, what was called Kingdom Pen Radio is now going to be called the Kingdom Pen Broadcast, and now Kingdom Pen Radio will be user-submitted?
Not quite. The KP broadcast is just one of the images that we use when presenting a new development with Kingdom Pen. Kingdom Pen Radio is still called Kingdom Pen Radio. The only difference is now it is subscriber submitted, yes. So, for example, Daniel now has a show called The Very Serious Writing show, and he can submit episodes from that to Kingdom Pen Radio to be featured on Kingdompen.org.
Right, that makes sense, then. I thought I was misunderstanding something.
Thanks for clarifying!
