      Hey, Kapeefers!

      So I had this idea where we could have something just like the Writers’ Corner, except with reading instead of writing. I don’t know if it’s a good idea, or if it will be as successful as the WC, but I’m going to give it a shot.

      Here you can chat with other people while you’re reading, just like in the WC. And it will keep you accountable on how much you read. I know I, for one, need to read more. XD

      SO. I’m going to kick this off 🙂

      I’m here. Reading the Shakespeare play Richard III for school 🙂

      You can pronounce it however you want.

        @dekreel I think that’s a great idea! I don’t read nearly enough either.

        I’ve never read Richard III.  The only thing I know from that is “My kingdom for a horse!” (At least, I think it’s from that one.)  I’ve read a lot of other Shakespeare, though.  Have you read any of his other plays?

          @dekreel @rochellaine

          Good idea… except that I read too much! 😀

          But, anyways, I’m reading The Three Musketeers.

            @supermonkey42 That’s a cool book.  How far are you in it? (I’ve never actually read it, but I know the story pretty well.)

              @dekreel 😀 This is a great idea. The problem with me is that I get sort of immersed in the things I’m reading and don’t pay attention to anything else.

                @dekreel I think this is a cool idea! I’m like @sam-kowal though; hopefully I’ll remember this while I’m reading.

                Anyway, I’m reading Centurion’s Wife and Creating Character Arcs. I kinda want to finish The Centurion’s Wife by the end of this coming week, but I’m only halfway.

                  @dekreel This could be a good place to talk about great books and book recommendations, too.

                  Recently, I’ve read A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, The Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson, and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

                    @sam-kowal I had to read Tale of Two Cities for school. I recently finished York by Laura Ruby and Merlin’s Blade by Robert Treskillard. It’s really cool ’cause my family used to go to church with Mr. Treskillard.

                      I don’t suppose that reading a textbook would count for this, would it?

                        @rochellaine Oh, about halfway. D’Artagnan just found Aramis meeting with Superior of the Jesuits and the Cure of Montdidier. 🙂

                          @skredder Umm… is it an interesting textbook? 😉

                            @supermonkey42 Welllll…there are parts that are interesting. The part that I’m reading though, not so much.

                                @supermonkey42 If you really want to know. 🙂 The book is about international business and the specific chapter I’m reading is “The Legal and Political Environment of Global Business.” The first part regarding political systems was kinda interesting, but I started losing interest when they moved on to bribes, corruption, risks, and laws.

                                  @skredder Sounds… informative. 🙂 I was recently reading about the rise of capitalism in the industrial revolution, and it was interesting to see how it evolved into its current form.
