So, I don’t have any money right now, which means I can’t buy any Christmas presents. For the past week I’ve been trying to figure out how to give my family presents.
And I finally figured out what I should give my sister.
So, she’s basically obsessed with bunnies and has a stuffed animal bunny that she’s had since she was born, and she loves it. She hardly goes anywhere without it, even though she’s in fifth grade.
So I figured I’d write a little short story or something featuring Bunny. (That’s what she named it. Very creative.) Christmas themed, preferably.
But I need ideas for the plot, since it’s, what? Four days till Christmas? Something like that.
Anyways, I need to get started on this now if I’m to finish it before Christmas.
Any ideas? I’m open to anything.

@epicaddie2, That is a great idea! I’m currently writing a serial story at the request of my youngest sister. Anyway, plot ideas. Actually, since I don’t know your sister, it will be kinda hard for me to give you anything. Is she a princess/sparkles/girly-stuff kinda girl, or does she like mysteries/tree-climbing/more tomboyish stuff?
December 21, 2017 at 6:15 pm #57356@shannon She’s more of a girly-girl. Glitter, gymnastics, dancing, etc.

@epicaddie2 Hmm, does she like fairytales? How about Bunny falls into a fairytale book and lives through some fairy tales? Maybe give the fairy tales a little twist?
A few common fairy tales you could use:
The Twelve Dancing Princesses
Hansel and Gretel
Puss in Boots

@epicaddie2 Are you thinking an adventure story?
December 21, 2017 at 7:14 pm #57362Good question! Hmmm, lesseee….
How old is she?
I want to do something about saving Christmas, but that’s also cliche…
Maybe Bunny could look for a present that’s just right for her friend, and stick ballet or gymnastics or whatever in there… My brain is mush right now. Otherwise I could think of something better…
I know! She wants to buy a certain present for her friend, but it’s too expensive. So she saves up in different ways (maybe dancing or doing gymnastics tricks in the streets and things like that) to buy it. When she’s finally returned to the store with enough money, She finds that someone else has already bought the present. And then some kind of plot twist occurs and her friend ends up with the present.
That’s my best idea. Of course, if your sister is a teenager or older it might not work…

You can pronounce it however you want.
December 21, 2017 at 7:20 pm #57367@shannon Hmm… Good ideas. *adds to idea list*
@emily Honestly, I’m not sure. Adventures are cool, though. So yeah. 😉
@dekreel She’s only in fifth grade, so those ideas could work.Maybe I can do a Christmas/fairytale thing. A Christmas themed fairytale retelling.

@epicaddie2 Oh, I just realized that you wanted it to be Christmas themed…those ideas might not have been to helpful then. Although, like you said, a Christmas themed fairytale retelling would be kinda cool!

@epicaddie2 My brain isn’t working. *flies off to try to make brain work*
December 21, 2017 at 7:23 pm #57371@shannon Well, it doesn’t have to be Christmas themed, but since I’m giving it to her for Christmas I figured it might as well be. 😉

@epicaddie2 Makes sense : )
December 21, 2017 at 7:26 pm #57374@emily Haha 🙂 I wish I knew how to make my brain work! Half of the time it’s broken, and then it suddenly repairs itself…
@shannon Yep 😉 But still, good ideas!

@epicaddie2 No kidding!
December 21, 2017 at 8:45 pm #57390@epicaddie2 I love the idea of a Christmas themed fairytale. You could always try putting Bunny into another famous Christmas story too, like the Nutcracker. If she’s into dancing she might like that idea.

December 21, 2017 at 8:46 pm #57391@epicaddie2 Do you need more ideas?
