        @Salome01w4g sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you! I feel there might be a few more around, but I can’t really remember. Historical fiction is awesome though.
        Who are your favourite hf writers? Favourite books?

          Oh wait G.A. Henty, Elizabeth George Speare , and some others but I’m having a hard time remembering the names…..

          Books…. Uh… Does the Count Of Monte Cristo count as HF???? ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜›
          I know I’m going to think of more later…

            G.A Henty was my favorite author for like 5 years. I’ve moved on but I remember going through a phase where I tried to write exactly like him. @salome01w4g

                @salome01w4g I grew up on HF reading and writing!
                A couple favorite authors… L.M. Montgomery, Louisa May Alcott and Lois Gladys Leppard.
                I also really liked Robin Hood and Ivanhoe. ๐Ÿ™‚

                What’s y’all’s favorite historical time period to write about?

                  @salome01w4g I absolutely adore, love, prize, and cherish historical fiction. Ok that’s probably going a little too far. But I love HF anyway. Just so you know. The Count of Monte Cristo totally has to count. Oh, and Elizabeth George Speare is the best!
                  @josiahdeboer I know it’s weird, sometimes I find myself writing like GA Henty a little bit also.

                  @rolena-hatfield
                  LM Montgomery’s books are awesome, and Louisa May Alcott is so good! I just finished Ivanhoe, and it, with Robin Hood have too be tops on my medieval reading list!
                  Oh, and I think that Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice sorta count for historical fiction? They are both really good. (Sorry guys, I think I just went into a rant about historical fiction)

                    @rolena-hatfield

                    Oh those are good authors, right now I’m writing during the Revolutionary War period.

                    @shannon ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ Yeah If TCOMC counts than P&P an JE count.

                        @salome01w4g How did I miss this? Historical fiction is almost completely what I write. I’m so glad there is a topic for this now. I like Elizabeth George Speare, and G.A. Henty best. I know I will think of more later…when my brain clears. All I can think about is algebra and the historical fiction story I’m writing.

                            @salome01w4g Yeah. There’s no way I could write a story right now. I am thinking about a ton of different things at once. I have trouble focusing sometimes.
