“What’s that?” you say. “You mean after seven months of promising a new modern and mobile-friendly web design was on its way, it’s /actually/ happening?”
Hard to believe. But yes. It was a great and difficult challenge to scour the internet for web designers before taking on the harder challenge of doing it ourselves. But we’re finally ready to start gearing up to roll out a new web design within the end of this month that will, at the very least, significantly decrease the pain of those of you who try to use this site on mobile.
We haven’t chosen a release date yet (it will require us to temporarily take the site down for a day and we’re working on scheduling that), but we should have the new design up by the end of this month.
In the meantime, for all of you who are chomping at the bit in eager anticipation of the new KP look, here are a couple preview images from our demo site.

This is awesome @aratrea – one question though. Is doing this going to make all the forums disappear? Another site I’m on did that and it was a huge pain. It looks like it’ll be worth it though. 🙂
September 13, 2017 at 3:15 pm #43265@josiahdeboer No–we’re going to make sure that doesn’t happen. All previously published forum and post content will remain (though some of our pages will be updated); they’ll just now be more elegant, faster, and mobile-accessible.

@aratrea This sounds great! I can’t wait!
September 13, 2017 at 10:43 pm #43299Started working on our planned forum re-design tonight. A bunch of small upgrades that we’re going to keep under wraps for now. But to continue to boost excitement, I thought I’d mention that we’ll be able to display usernames under the display name on the forum. So you won’t need to hunt down their profile to tag them once we do the relaunch.

What theme are you using? (It looks a little like divi?)
Also, if you need a hand with something, I can always ask my sister (the one who brought up some points about your site :P) and she might be able to find time to give it a once-over. (And once it’s published she can point out any vulnerabilities like the crazy tech person she is. XP)Writing Heroes ♦ Writing Hope // janemareeauthor.com.au
