Sooooo. *rubs hands together*
I am working on writing a fantasy story about two siblings who are tasked by the Maker (God, obviously) to keep the crazy world they live in under check. After all, with such huge beasts as dragons and sea monsters, you’d need to some extraordinary people to keep from these creatures from, um, destroying everything.
There is literally no limit to the kinds of creatures that I want to put in this book. Vampires. Mermaids. Vampire mermaids. Wyrms. Hobbits. Ghosts. Werewolves. Unicorns. Pretty much anything. I am combining traditional fantasy (dragons, etc.) with today’s fantasy (vampires and werewolves and all things odd), plus any other kind of fantasy there is.
So! If anyone would like to, you can suggest literally any kind of fantasy creature and I will more than likely include it in my book.
So far I’ve got:
– Minotaurs (and mermaid minotaurs)
– Werewolves (and weresharks, in the mermaid world)
– Vampires (and vampire mermaids)
– Fairies (and fairy mermaids)
– Dryads (and – okay you probably know that I have a mermaid version of this as well)
– Medusas (I don’t even need to say it)
– Dragons (Yep – they’re basically just huge hulking wingless sea monsters, though.)
– Wyverns
– Wyrms
– Drakes
– Amphitheres
– Lindwurms/LindwormsAny assistance would be totally awesome!

Read to explore worlds, write to create them.

September 19, 2017 at 4:29 pm #43902@graceofspades2017 I am new here. But have you ever heard of the Peryton? I discovered it looking at creatures found in medieval bestiaries.
That one English guy.

Catwing (or anything with wings. What? I like flying things.)
Jackelope
Centaur
Minotaur
Giant
Dwarf
Gryphon (I beg to differ with any people who say they’re the same as Griffins. They are not! Griffins have an eagle’s head and lion’s body. Gryphon’s have a lion’s head and an eagle’s body [Adapted of course] though it could be an raptor besides an eagle)
Harpy *shivers*
Pegasus
Elves
Shadow creatures
OgresThere you go!

Halflings (as in half of one thing, half another)
Changlings
Dodos (Maybe? Turn them into friendly pets or vicious beasts)
Three-headed dogs
Bears [Kay Waters has informed me that you would not think of bears as mythical in your dimension {Kay Waters is one of my characters who travels through dimensions}]
Humans [Kay Waters has now informed me that they are not]
Thinking swords
Thinking hurricanesThere’s even more for your book! Have you read the newest article?
