I am a sophomore writer at Mount Calvary Christian School who loves crafting fantasy stories. I can usually be found crafting magic systems while plotting my next big plotline. Their work explores themes of faith and peace in struggling in sin, and I am currently working on a trilogy of fantasy novels, aspiring after the Sanderson Cosmere.

@galaxartian Hi Galaxartian, welcome to KP! 👋🏻

Ooh, fantasy. 👀 The themes you explore in your writing sound very interesting: what led you to tackling those themes in your writing?

Ahem…I should probably introduce myself. I’m Freedom, child of God first and foremost, writer of primarily historical fiction and no-magic fantasy, indie author, history buff (primarily WWII), music enjoyer, movie lover, and MCU nerd.

A few questions for you, since it’s customary to do so on KP:

        1. What author(s) do you look up to?
        2. Music or no music when writing?
        3. If you could only have 3 books for the rest of your life, what would those 3 books be?

Hello, it’s nice to meet you Galaxartian! My name (as you can see, of course, lol) is Quicksilverwyvern, though you can call me Quicksilver or Wyvern, I don’t care. I’m a Christian who hopes to be an author and business owner someday. I have a ridiculous amount of hobbies, and am always welcome to give advice.

Now, a few questions for you:

          1. What’s your favorite worldbuilding element you have come up with for a book?

          2. What is your favorite vibe for a book to be? Like, the general feeling the environment and story gives you. Whimsical, epic, dystopian, regal, etc.

          3. What is your favorite type of weapon? (Like in coolness factors, not effectiveness.)

There once was a snail who was depressed and would do anything for his girlfriend. Didn't end well.

              1. Do you mean category of worldbuilding, or something I actually made. If the former, magic systems 100%, if the latter, then probably a osteomancy magic system that I made

              2. regal, very high fantasy feel

              3. in real life, probably the A-Bomb, if not magic of any kind

My favorite project was a world of 8 different magic systems, where certain things were blessed in each of the 8 realms, and the magic system revolves around that concept.
