I used to write poetry quite a bit. Not that any of it was any good, but… I was published once. (I don’t know whether any of you receive Clubhouse magazine or not, but that’s where it was.)
@BlueJay @kate-flournoy @hope @anne-of-lothlorien @spradlin @christi-eaton @daeusTake Thou My Hand
Moment by moment,
O Lord I pray lead me,
Take thou my hand,
And help me to praise thee!Though times may be hard,
And the suffering be long,
Take thou my hand,
And help me be strong. When my feet stumble,
And Lord, when I fall,
Take thou my hand,
And set me up tall!Lord, keep my way straight,
Upon your way narrow,
Help me to stay there,
Straight as an arrow!Lord, thank you for all,
You’ve given to me,
And help me, O Lord,
Thy vessel to be!"Courage is action in spite of fear."

"When enemies attack your kingdom you don't flee you show them why it's your kingdom. With your lightsaber."

INTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.

I really like it! The rhyme and rhythm are really good, and I love the subject of the poem. 🙂 Keep up the great work!September 22, 2016 at 9:27 am #17950@corissa-maiden-of-praise
