December 14, 2023 at 7:04 pm #169750@freedomwriter76 Have you ever heard of Seasons by Benjamin William Hastings? I just read about the struggles you’ve been having & I just wanted to reach out and encourage you that God’s got you; oh He loves you so much! It might get difficult, and you might ask those ‘why God’ questions! But don’t forget, He’s taking you through the seasons!
I like to give people this specific encouragement: Jesus isn’t the eraser of all our hardships, but the solution. Sometimes he delivers these experiences to us so that we might be able to grow in wisdom and perfection. He doesn’t always give us strength, but opportunities to be strong. So, we say Lord, heal the brokenness, heal the parts in me only you can see. We pray that our laments will be heard and that our cry to heaven will be answered. He said, seek and you will find. He said cry, and you will be heard. 2 Kings 20:5 “I have heard your prayers. I have seen your tears. I will heal you.” Make no mistake, God will break you for his purpose. But His purpose gives you a higher calling. A higher understanding of peace. You know what it’s like to be torn, you know what it feels like to break – and God’s gonna use you to minister that! He’s gonna use you in a way no one else could ever understand! God has been prepping you with that kind of anointing all your life. Through every valley and every mountain pass you climb. Every time you fall. You’ve gathered oil in the dark places when you trusted Him; you’ve shone a testimony and in the times you’ve dwelt with Jesus you have gathered and obtained an anointing oil that now He is calling you to go bless people with. As a holy priest grafted into Christ’s kingdom, you have been anointed to mediate God’s heavenly wisdom to the world. Pure oil, to be specific, and pure oil is precious and is made by being pressed. You’ve been pressed, and you carry a heavenly oil that now, is being carried by a fire-kilned vessel. I don’t know if no one told you, but you’re beautiful. You’re amazing. You’re precious. You ARE wonderfully made by God and you’ll get through this – with God by your side. He’s prepared you for this. And He loves you! He adores you! God ain’t delaying you – He’s preparing you.
Oh the winter is long, but the harvest even richer!

Oh,
Ohhhhhaaa.
Where did it all go?
My plate was so stacked,
ham, corn, pie, and potatoes
A great glump tower
of all that tasty goodness
all gone,
gone,
gone by my pigness.
Ugh.
You will love what you spend time with.
December 15, 2023 at 9:58 pm #169868@power I laughed at that 😂 That was good!!

but a world full of carnage and decaywhy you’d hail to the lowest
I can’t fathoma servant to the misfits

___________________________
faithful sinner, faithless saint
There are two men I will speak of,
The first, a faithless saint.
The second is a faithful sinner,
Their sorrowful hearts may faint.
In church, you’ll see the saint often,
Yet his internal thoughts are rotten.
His blinded eyes are judgmental,
He thinks good words are essential.
But to do them is elemental
Oh, the faithless saint.
He won’t withhold his loud complaints.
He trust his works will carry him to heaven,
Though they reek with leaven.
You’ll hear the sinner crying often,
Over sins he hasn’t forgotten.
To God’s word, he will not harken
He loves his life of pain.
Oh, the faithful sinner.
He takes his lusts to dinner,
And always fills his plate,
And when he’s full, he tells himself, “Tomorrow… It’s not too late.”

Just a girl with big dreams and a heart full of Going,
Hands for the harvest and tales for the Sowing,
Awaiting her story but even then knowing-
That fields laid to fallow are still part of Growing.
