By Molly McTernan
Have you loosened your hold?
Did you begin to stray?
Like a lost lamb
Who wandered away.
Does it all feel so hard?
How can you go on?
When the light is snuffed out,
The curtain drawn.
Are you walking in a tunnel?
No end in sight?
When all has left you,
Your strength and your might.
But, what if I told you something?
Something so good and Holy?
About a God who loves you
Who waits patiently and slowly.
Have you felt all alone?
Like no one is there?
But, what if I told you
Someone’s as close as air?
Did you almost slip?
Do you feel like you’re falling?
But, what if I told you
The Master is calling?
Were you falling apart?
Regretting what was spoken?
But, what if I told you
He can fix what is broken?
He has done it all before
And He will continue to do so.
Ask, and He will mend the pieces
You can be renewed, this I know.
