I’ve spent part of the evening writing up a blurb to go on the home page of my site and I’m wondering what you all think? Honest opinions…and I’m not sure if the last lines get a little over dramatic or not.
A seeker of thrilling, inspiring, Christian-based fantasy, Hope Ann is now a passionate authoress of the stories she searched for while younger. A creator of worlds, where light battles darkness, home forges on amide despair, and true love, courage, and faith are the watchwords of the day. A wordsmith, shaper of legends, recorder of prophecies, scroll-mistress, and quill maiden. A warrior in the battle of words for the dawn of a better day. A writer of the light, for the light, and in the light.
My site, by the way, is called writing in the light.

I like it! 😀 Only thing I would look out for is adjectives in the first sentence— I am so one to talk, but thrilling and inspiring are pretty similar so I would cut one or the other.
*sigh* @Hope
I need a flashing button on my keyboard that blares the words ‘DO NOT FORGET TAG’ at me every time I make a post.
@Hope Sounds pretty good. I would take out the “now” though in the first sentence. I think the drama’s great, but you might want to add a short little pithy down to earth sentence at the end just to tie it all together, make a call to action, etc.

Thanks, @Kate-flournoy and @Daeus. I’ll take care of those things.
