Hey Y’all! Okay, sooooooo, I know I have a lot of WIP’s, but heh…I have an idea for a new Fanfic. The inspiration came from an idea my friend gave me when I asked her for ideas for my main Marvel Fanfiction, and anywho…y’all, I’ve been thinking about this story for a while now. I wanna know y’all’s thoughts and I need some help with brainstorming because this idea is new. XD
Anyways, this is the (VERY BASIC!) premise.
What happens when Tony Stark creates Ultron, the robot who turns towards total destruction, amidst SHIELD’S Project Insight?
Basically y’all…the idea is that Ultron appears amidst The Winter Soldier movie timeline. It’ll be an AU (alternate universe) that’s basically the same, other than that. I’m open to many different ideas, and I’d love to hear some thoughts!
I’m planning on the POV characters being Tony, (since I want to get inside his head. Hehe XD) possibly Steve, and Bucky (still as the Winter Soldier) and it will still include Wanda, Quicksilver, The Avengers and Nick Fury, BUT it will also include, due to being combined with The Winter Soldier timeline, Brock Rumlow, Agent Sitwell, Sharon Carter, and Alexander Pierce.
Anywho, any ideas or thoughts? Would it be a fanfic you’d be willing to read? Again, I’m open to any ideas! 😀

Here’s the possible beginning, to show y’all kinda where I’m going with this idea. XD
Clinking metal. Sawing tools. Blasting welders.
Tony wiped sweat from his brow.
This… what he and Bruce Banner were creating…would change the world.
The world wasn’t safe.
It was full of dangerous people. And if Loki had taught The Avengers anything, it was that Earth, at its place in the world, was fragile and vulnerable to attack.
“Almost done, Tony.” Bruce whispered, wiped sweat off his forehead. He sighed. “Are you sure this is really the right thing to do?”
“More certain than I’ve ever been.”
The world needed a hero that could be there at any moment.
A shield of protection that The Avengers couldn’t fully give.
And as Nick Fury and SHIELD launched Project Insight to rid the world of hostiles, Ultron would come forward and be the protective shield around the earth.
Tony placed his hand on the lever.
Bruce gripped the other one.
“Are we completely certain, Tony?”
Bruce was such a worrier. “We’ve been planning this for years now, Bruce. Ultron will protect the world. And Jarvis will be sure to help us welcome him to the world, won’t you, Jarvis?”
“Of course, sir.”
Tony turned to Bruce with a grin. “See? Now, on my count, pull the lever down. Three…two…one.”
They pulled down together.
A spark erupted, and the lab went pitch dark.
The generator quickly turned on, and the lights flickered back on.
“What is this place…where am I?”
There he was.
Metal and red.
Ultron, Earth’s new protector.
And Tony had created him.
Tony Stark…the weapons maker…the arms dealer…had created Earth’s new protector.
“Welcome to Earth, Ultron.”
Yes.
Maybe this was the beginning of Tony Stark’s redemption.

Ugh. Just realized this fanfic is going to include basically all my least favorite Marvel villains. XD (except Arnim Zola, who’s dead, and Red Skull, who’s on that weird planet that Thanos and Gamorra and Clint and Natasha went to.) Oh, why do I hurt myself so? XD

@freedomwriter76 You’re so welcome!!! Wellllll, not sure I’ll be much help…but it’d be cool to see more of the behind-the-scenes of like Hydra’s infiltration or more of Tony’s PTSD (which, come to think of it, you’d have to watch Iron Man 3 to know about…I can’t remember if that ever continued or was resolved in Iron Man 3…).
Augh. I’m not good at this. XD But, like, to focus on a specific character or a side character who didn’t get much screen time (like Sharon Carter? Maybe?) would be SO cool!

@gracie-j. Thanks for some ideas! A couple ideas are already running around in my head, like how Ultron ends up being the one that kills Pierce, OOH, and, I’m planning on Wanda (since she can look in people’s minds… XD) sees some of the things Bucky has gone through, like the torture and stuff, and that’s what makes her start thinking about the fact that she and Pietro are on the wrong side. Plus, Ultron reveals his ultimate plan, which makes her finally decide that she’s on the wrong side. Also, because for a time they team up, she, Pietro, and Bucky often work together. Pietro and Wanda try to talk to him a lot, but Bucky, of course, rarely ever says anything to them. All my ideas are about that side, evidently. XD (JK. I have other ideas, those have just been coming back to my head over and over again. XD) Does Tony’s PTSD come from the Chitauri attack, when Pepper almost died, or something else? (speaking of Tony, I watched Civil War again. And, raise hands, does anyone else love the dynamic between Sam and Bucky? XD)

@freedomwriter76 Something tells me you have as many Marvel AU’s as I have Star Wars ones. But I love it! Do it, it sounds awesome! I haven’t seen either of those Marvel movies but I know a little bit about them, so….
Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.
