Oh, that sounds awful. I’m glad to hear you’re doing well too, @bluejay. 🙂

I applaud you, docter. Your analysis was spot on! 😉 I do, indeed, have an iron deficiency. In fact, when I was younger, I was very sick (not solely because of the iron deficiency, but it was a factor), and was put on many medications for two years. After no improvement, and my condition worsening, my parents decided to take me off of them and…[Read more]

Hmm… Well I’ll gladly answer your questions, Doctor @bluejay
    1. Not overly so.
    2. I suspect I bruise normally. I don’t have many bruises, so maybe that will answer your question.
    3. Yes, it can be at times. I’d say there are about four or so days out of the week that I don’t get much sleep at all.
    4. Oh, I most definitely prefer reading a…[Read more]

    • Hmm *peers over glass rims* I wouldn’t be surprised if you have an iron deficiency. Sleeping was a big problem for me and I would much rather curl up on the couch with a book. I just didn’t have the energy to get through the day if I did too much. So I went on supplements to fix it and I notice my hair grew much faster. (Which is really nice) @faithdk

@bluejay Ah, okay. I don’t know why I didn’t see it… *trails off into deep thought* Anyway, that’s cool. Maybe I’ll have to look into supplements then -see if they’ll work for me. 😉

    • @faithdk Sorry, I had to go out, so I couldn’t reply.
Yeah, they might work. Let me ask you a quick few questions, but you don’t have to answer them if you don’t want to.
      1. Do you feel tired a lot?
      2. Do you bruise easily?
      3. Is sleeping a problem?
      4. Do you prefer reading a book or running around?
*the doctor sits back and smiles at you*

  • (@bluejay I had to start another message. I think the first one got too long, and I’m not able to reply) That sounds great! I’d love to hear how it turns out.
I’ve always wanted to donate my hair! Sadly, I don’t think that will ever be an option for me… my hair grows SO slow. It’d take years before it was long enough to be worth donating. I…[Read more]

    • @faithdk Haha. I think all you have to do it scroll back up and you’ll find the reply button. It will put it at the end of the conversation. My hair use to be really slow growing, but I’ve been on supplements and it is slightly faster. I would probably donate it first and then when it is slightly longer get layers.

@bluejay I see… It sounds very much like something I might have to look into further. Just recently, I’ve been thinking about acting and trying it out -see if I’m any good. I would like to use some of my stories to act out with my younger siblings, but they cannot read yet. *sighs* Good luck with the pantomine though! I wish I would be doing…[Read more]

  • Ah, the age old discussion…
I, personally, do not mind reading occasional swearing or ‘bad language’ so long as it is significant in it’s use and does not take God’s name in vain.

There are a few times, I believe, that it is okay to use harsh words in a story, but only certain ones. As @warrioroftherealm has stated before, the D-word is not…[Read more]

  • @Anne-of-Lothlorien, hello there! 🙂 I have a blog, but it is fairly new (started earlier this year) and, unfortunately, doesn’t have much content on it. It mostly consists of book reviews and short articles about random topics. I have a few pictures of my artwork too, and one short story, but I should warn you if you decide to read it: it was…[Read more]

@bluejay basically, yes -busy life. 😛 But I am trying to get back into the writing groove again. A few blog posts are really the only writing I’ve done over the past few months, and frankly, it irks me to pieces!
Ooh, that sounds interesting. But I have never heard of a pantomime… what is it exactly?

    • A pantomime is “theatrical entertainment in which words are replaced by gestures and bodily actions.” At least that’s what the dictionary says. So basically it’s more about acting your part out. Also if you are doing a Peter Pan panto he’s a girl. Please don’t ask me why, it just is. *weird* Although it did allow me to have him. And the next year…[Read more]

And random question: Your hair is really pretty, do you have to style it to make it look like that or is it natural?

Hey @bluejay! *waves back furiously* 😀 I know! Ugh, forgive me… I have been reading a few of the recent topics and posts, I just haven’t had the time to take part in any discussions. I hope that will soon change. 😉 I have missed all my fellow KeePers immensely!

    • @faithdk Busy life??? It’s about to get busy for me. I have a kids convention and then a pantomime. It will be fun, but extremely full on. I’m guessing KP won’t see much of me in January. 🙂

  • Nice topic! I agree 100% on all your points.

Using adjectives sparingly: When I was little, everyone was always telling me “You need more adjectives,” and “you can never have too many because the more descriptive your writing is, the better.” Wrong! You said it, Kate, there is such a thing as overkill.

    But…but, wait. Y-you don’t like…apple…[Read more]
