@rochellaine I have a way of remembering Australia’s time (or at least Sydney’s time)! All you do is add four to the U.S. Eastern time, and then change a.m. to p.m., or vice versa. For example, if it is four o’clock p.m. Eastern Time, add four to get eight p.m., and then change from p.m. to a.m. Therefore, it is 8 a.m. in Eastern Australia. Or if it was nine p.m. add four hours to get one a.m., and therefore it’s one p.m. in Australia.
Make sense? 😉

If you like old TV shows with action, you might like my present favorite, which is called 77 Sunset Strip. It’s also hard to find, but I’ve been watching it on dailymotion.com which very similar to YouTube. Here’s a link to the “search” of the show’s episodes. It’s about two private detectives. Tell me if you like it. 😀

And no, I haven’t seen that. Wow. I feel like a really boring person…all I do is write, read, school, and piano. (Well, plus Boy Scouts…) 🙃🙂
@jenwriter17 Well, there’s The Magnificent Seven. (The original one. Not the new one.) It’s pretty good. I should really know of more, I watch Westerns a lot with my family…but I can’t think of any off the top of my head. I’ll let you know if any more come to mind. Also, this isn’t really a Western, but have you seen The Great Escape? It’s really good….Kapeefer 'Till We're Old and Grey!

His movies are great, and something else that’s cool about him is that he married Dale Evans, his leading lady, and then a few years later they became Christians and refused to do a single live concert without at least hymn included. When they were scheduled to sing at Madison Square Garden they were almost refused because of this, but because they persisted, they were permitted to sing a hymn. 😀
Other than that my favorite western actor is Dale Robertson, but his films might not be appropriate for kids. I like Audie Murphy, too. Of course, if you’re going for clean, family westerns, you should definitely do Bonanza! 😀
One really good, clean movie is Return of the Frontiersman from 1950. It stars Gordon MacRae as a man falsely accused of murder.

@catwing Oh, too bad. Maybe we’ll come to GA again sometime, though. We’re just getting back into ministry work after a two-year semi-stop to take care of my grandmother, so we’ve got a few conferences scheduled. I don’t think we’ll come this year, but maybe next year.
