aldarley.wordpress.com@epicaddie2 That’s actually a really cool idea. I don’t know about a full length novel, but maybe a novella or short story? Maybe you could write it about a tree living through a certain time period, and somehow share to the reader the knowledge about that time period.
You could write it like each chapter is a certain day (maybe like a diary, almost.) Or, possibly, have someone become almost like the tree’s friend and visit it each day, talk to it out of loneliness, but that person doesn’t realize the tree can hear them. And the tree wishes it could reply, but sadly it doesn’t, and just sorta develop the plot? *shrug*
