@daeus, I’m not much of an authority on the time travel genre, but I find that ‘The Time Traveler Who Wasn’t Ready’ is a little clunky. It gives to much away to me (unless that’s what you’re going for). It depends on if your MC knows he’s a time traveler or if he discovers it at your key or inciting event. I haven’t read you’re book, so this may or may not be helpful.

I came up with three more ideas

        1. Fools in the darkness
        2. The Time Traveler’s Dilemma
        3. Key to the future

For 1 and 3, I would probably have the subtitle “a time travel novel”.

Hmmmm, I like the second and third the most. 🙂

@Daeus ooh! I really like the Time Traveler’s Dilemma. Like, really like it.

The time traveler’s dilemma sounds too much like the very popular time traveler’s wife book. I’d have to say that would be out for me.

I like fools in the darkness a lot.

Key to the future is meh.

                @daeus Fools in the Darkness

                Sounds so mysterious

Of those three, Fools in the Darkness is definitely the most intriguing. I’d actually say I like it best of anything else suggested so far; it’s enticingly enigmatic, and (from the perspective of someone who hasn’t read the book 😉 ) it grabs my attention and makes me want to read it.
So when can I expect it to be published? XD

@kate-flournoy @winter-rose @salome01w4g @corissa-maiden-of-praise Oh my! The debate continues. What I’ll probably do is poll my subscribers. So are there any of these you don’t like?

Corissa, it should be out in a little over a month.

@daeus the time traveler’s dilemma ….. it sounds kinda boring and unintriguing I would browse over it.

Key to the future , sounds creepy and scary hence I would browse over it.

@Daeus oh boy… 😛 Um. I have to say The Time Traveler’s Dilemma still takes the cake for me but if there really is another very popular book out there with a similar title, probably scratch it.
Fools in the Darkness… meh. Who wants to read about fools?
Key to the Future… I like it. It will probably grow on me. I especially like it because… theme. XD The key to the future is what Trevor learned in the past… literally.
                        Yeah. It’s growing on me.

@kate-flournoy Fyi, Fools In The Darkness comes straight from the theme as well.

“He walks up to the inner machine and opens the door where ten men are waiting for him. They have a foolish mission to do some good in a dark world and as fools they hope to succeed.”

@daeus I’m late but I like the Fools in the Darkness best.

@Daeus true… I didn’t notice that. I still think though that just picking it up and not knowing anything about the story, it really wouldn’t work for me. You wouldn’t notice the twist in the meaning until the very end of the book, and it’s not as integral to the overall theme as it could be. Just a brief reference to a part of the result.

@daeus Fools in the Darkness or Key to the Future. They are both really intriguing!

@Daeus I’m going to be really helpful and say I love Fools in the Darkness. I LOVE that thematic tie-in, and it does sound intriguing as a title. I don’t, however, know that it has enough to do with the overall theme, like Kate said… So I really like Key to the Future as well, which has more significance, though it doesn’t sound quite as intriguing.
