H’lo, Kapeefers… if anyone here writes songs/ likes writing music, feel free to post lyrics and ideas and anything you like here 🙂
Not sure if anyone but @dekreel and I do that, but if you do… this is kind of like the Writer’s Corner for songwriters:
All my songs are a little unpolished, still. Most of them are worship songs, but a few are just jams. The melodies are always the hardest part for me, and I also tend to disregard meter when I don’t feel like making all my syllables line up XD
This is one of them:

@dekreel Um ya…I am really big into music. It’s like half of my life. The other half is reading and writing.
I love your’s and @sam-kowal’s by the way. They are both awesome! Do either of y’all write the melody for them? Do either of y’all have a youtube channel?
I write song lyrics. But I have trouble with the melody. My guitar teacher might be able to write some music for one of my songs soon. Which is pretty cool. Here are the lyrics.
There once was a young girl; winsome and bold
Along came a young man; he had all the gold
He offered her diamonds in exchange for her hand
She quickly refused, although it seemed grand.
There still was a young girl; sparkling and bright
Along came a farm boy; a poor man alright.
He said, “I am poor, dear, and all that I hold

“I’ll take your dewdrops,” while nodding her head.

It’s not nearly as epic as your’s or Sam’s, but the tune that he is putting to it is incredible and I’m extremely, extremely excited about it.

I don’t have a YouTube channel or anything. I like singing, but I don’t like my voice. So unless I am very motivated, I won’t sing X) Of course, I WILL HAVE to sing so people know what my music sounds like… *sighhhh…*
I do write the melody! Entirely in my head, as the only working instrument in the house right now is an extremely-off-key zither and a guitar (which I still only barely know how to play)

@shannon What type? Ummm… acoustic? It’s acoustic, but it has a built in tuner and a place to plug in a speaker. If that’s what you mean

@shannon I like singing harmony the best. I can do fifth harmony better than third, actually (if you know what that means).
I ALWAYS get songs stuck in my head! And it’s usually REALLLLLY agitating ones like the Bob the Builder theme song XD XD or the Daytona theme song or something (“DAYTONNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAA”) *bangs head on table*
Right now I’m actually listening to music, so I don’t have anything stuck in my head. But there will be!
