What is the Tags option above the submit button for? What are tags?
As I understand them, tags are to help identify under which topic a post would fall under. They allow you to find things easier according to what the post is related to.
For example, if I made a post about needing help with my novel that’s a pirate story, I might add the tags, pirates, novel, or help. It shows what my post is related to.
I haven’t actually used the tags on the forum here, but I know that’s what tags are used for on other websites. 🙂 Hope this helps!https://rolenahatfield.com/
Say someone is searching for something on a particular topic. They search “humor”, but the topic’s name is “Comedy”. You could add “humor” into the tags to assist with searches to the topic can be more easily found.
