Hey KeePers!
You should have gotten an email about this last night, but I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of our fourth panel discussion that’s happening this upcoming Monday on self-publishing and writing.
In short, we have three self-published authors (Kim Vandel, Rachel Rittenhouse, and Jeannette DiLouie) who are going to be on the panel for the discussion. None of them are particularly big authors (yet), but don’t let that fool you. Kim Vandel writes really fun YA superhero fiction with absolutely brilliant characterization, and while I haven’t read the other two, I met both of them at a conference and enjoyed conversing with them. Jeannette even runs an editing agency. So I think they’re going to have a ton of helpful advice to share.
Here’s why this panel is so important.
One of the things @Daeus and I would love to do this year is bring more authors to our panels and even get some of the bigger-name authors to begin showing up at these to answer your questions on writing.
But to do that, we need to be pulling in large enough audiences at these events to attract these kinds of authors. The more people we have, the easier it will be for us to find them. So we want to see how many people we can get to this event.
So here’s what you can do. If this discussion sounds interesting to you (and it probably should), you can begin by signing up for the discussion at https://kingdompen.org/self-publishing-panel-discussion-registration/ (we’re requiring people to register this time around). Then, if you have any friends who you think would be interested, pass it along to them! The more writers we get, the better the questions will be, and the more authors we’ll be able to bring into these discussions in the future.
