Hey everybody, if you remember the homeschool mom I talked about on page 8 of this topic—Mrs. Keusal—she had a cancerous brain tumor… Well, the treatment hasn’t helped, and the tumor grew back, bigger; she’s gotten worse. It’s really dangerous, and she and her family are having a bit of a rough time. Any prayers still would be a great blessing to them.

Thank you for everyone who prayed for my family. It’s amazing how God used this death to glorify himself. Because of my grandfather’s death, my family was able to grow closer together and my granduncle and grandaunt became more receptive to the gospel. God is truly great.

@Mark-Kamibaya The Lord truly is amazing. I guess it’s things like this that we need to hold on to in hard times–all we can see is the pain, but God is working something beautiful out of it. I’ll be praying for your granduncle and aunt. 🙂

If you remember a while back, I requested prayer for the Easter offertory I and my sisters were going to play/sing for our church. I don’t remember who all responded (@Daeus @Ethryndal @ClaireC possibly?) but I just wanted to let you know that everything went off really well. I was incredibly nervous but it didn’t affect my voice at all, which is a small miracle in and of itself. 😉 And @Emma-Flournoy did perfect with her violin and my older sister Elizabeth did great on the piano. Several of the older folks in the congregation came up afterwards and said that they were especially blessed by the song we’d chosen— which is a fairly old song— because it was one of their favorites and they hardly ever heard it anymore. So I feel that our mission was accomplished.
Thank you all for your prayers. They mean a lot. 🙂

So glad to hear that @kate-flournoy! I’m sure it was wonderful.
