@Mark-Kamibaya Oh, yes. I’d like to read over it again once you have it to your liking. 😀
And no worries, I wasn’t irritated. I like debating every once in a while and I think a dose of forcefulness on all sides is part of the activity description. 😉 It was fun!

@mark-kamibaya Oh, boy. This’ll be hard to explain. 😛

So, a cliche, being what it is clearly has to come from some idea, and that idea is or isn’t a cliche. If it is a cliche, then clearly it came from somewhere, then you have a bunch of cliches within cliches. But if you change the definition of cliche, then they are all original, but they have something in common. If they have something in common, then they are cliche, and if they are cliche, then that has to come from some idea, and so forth….

That makes no sense, does it…?

@dragon-snapper Yep. Your mind’s ideas just soar above my level of comprehension 😛 Maybe use actual examples? I dunno

Honestly, I didn’t really brush my article up that much. Just added a couple sentences in the end talking about, as Kate said, the unavoidability (not even a word) of cliches. Just stressed how unimportant they are.
