So, yeah, I did it.
I wrote a poem about us.
And @kate-flournoy loved it, so I decided to share it with y’all.
Here it comes… for all who want to read it

(What rhymes with Kapeefer?!)
Closest thing is Ether,
Or maybe it’s Easter…
But neither has anything to do with Kapeefers
(So far)We’re a proud, motley band
(Even a somewhat dangerous band)
We travel the land
Or at least the internet strands
Connecting the land
(We’re not rich)But what we do do is write!
(Well, sometimes we write)
We also will fight
Over which writing drink is right –
Coffee or Cocoa?
(It’s cocoa)We’re as crazy as the Hatter Mad
(Possibly crazier than the Hatter Mad)
Did he ever wish really bad
To be kidnapped by a cad?
“Of course, story material must be had!”
(At all costs)Who else arms raspberries with bazookas?
(There’s no rhyme for bazookas)
I’ll make a word up, cause…
We all are cuzookas!
That’s people who arm raspberries with bazookas
(War is coming)We have many jokes
(Quite a few inside jokes)
Archipelagos, frog-wearing blokes
ENFP’s, clichés, and friendly pokes
And I’m sure someone made one about diet Cokes
(*shrugs* It rhymed)‘Raymen noodles’, and our beloved king
(Pause of respect for our king)
….
That saved me some rhyming
Oh, and there’s that one other thing
(I think…)But I’m not going to tell you
(You so wish I would tell you)
You wish that you knew
But if you’re reading this, you do
For only Kapeefers is who this is available to!
(For now)So, all the inside jokes
(Those hilarious inside jokes)
About kangaroo-riding Aussie blokes
That make you laugh till you choke
You know those because you are one of us!
(I just realized that didn’t rhyme and I am not following my pattern anymore…)So much for my poem
