@emily-d No, it’s a magpie 😛 And no, not necessarily. I mean, I like birds, but I’m not an avid bird-watcher and I don’t know heaps about them 😉

@perfectfifths Well, I’m not crazy about birds, but I do go birdwatching from time to time. My favorite birds that I’ve seen so far are the Scarlet Tanager, Indigo Bunting and the Bald Eagle. Then I also love the Carolina Wren. 😀

I like seeing unusual birds come around our house. When we had rabbit and guinea pigs, hawks, or some other kind of large bird sometimes were hanging around. Usually one at a time, and they never did anything, in the end, it was mites, a feral cat and disappearing that ended each the piggies 🙁 The rabbits we gave away.

And one time a butcher bird came and sat in the patio for a while. We had no idea what it was. We were thinking like a baby kookaburra, or some other kind of Kingfisher.
