Well… I have both Irish and Scottish blood on my mom’s side, Cherokee and Huguenot blood on my daddy’s side, and an insatiable affinity for all things Celtic. I don’t think I have just vast reservoirs of knowledge on anything Irish, but I have collected quite a few odd little tidbits here and there. What was your question? Maybe I can answer it… and if I can’t, I can try and make a fool of myself, but oh well. Fire away.

Almost exclusive british isles decent here. And I started writing a book set in Ireland at one point, though it wasn’t too well researched. I know a bit about it, though.
I’ll provide a second opinion for Kate’s stuff. 😛
