I’m Bella. I am seventeen years old, and love writing! My favorite genre is Historical Fiction, but I like to write non-fiction too.

I also stalked this place warily before joining 😉 It must be a normal routine.
I have lots of stories I’m currently working on, and all of them are from the Historical Fiction genre. The top five are from ancient Rome, Renaissance France, Victorian England, the Dark Ages, and the early days of Pioneer America.

I don’t really watch many TV shows, just because I live out in the country. But my favorite books are many. I love everything by Sir H. Rider Haggard, Elisabeth Elliot, Douglas Bond, and John J. Horn.

@bella-d My absolute favorite genre is Historical Fiction! I have had a bit of trouble writing in that genre, though. I write mostly modern fiction (is there a name for that genre?)."Sylvester - Sylvester!"
I have no idea. I’ve dabbled in that genre, but not enough to know much about it :/
I understand it being difficult to write. I have to do a lot of research and stay within more boundaries for historical accuracy.
(Would someone mind explaining the ranks under our names to me? I’m totally confused)

@bella-d Those sound cool! I especially like historical fiction from ancient Rome and similar periods, but maybe it’s just because those are where the best I’ve read have been set. I write fantasy and am currently working on a high fantasy novel about a young queen whose throne is being threatened. And I think it is a normal routine 🙂

That’s super neat… I’ve heard it takes a lot of imagination to write fantasy.

@bella-d Someone else will probably have explained by the time I’m done writing this post, but your rank has to do with how many times you’ve posted. I think you’re a bumbling henchman until twenty posts, and after that you’re a Charismatic Rebel like me. Beyond that, I have no idea what the post numbers and ranks are 🙂
