WAIT JUST A SECOND!!! *runs into topic, puffing for breath*
Stop bashing on the movies, everyone! ๐Ÿ‘ฟ BOTH THE MOVIES AND THE BOOKS ARE EQUALLY GOOD IN DIFFERENT WAYS. There.
    Note: Itโ€™s actually โ€œSauron,โ€ not โ€œSoron.โ€
And I used to be annoyed by Frodo, but the more I read/watch LOTR, the more I understand him. Donโ€™t bash him, people!
Favorite characters: Gandalf, Galadriel, Aragorn, Eomer, Eowyn and Faramir (ship them SO MUCH), Theoden… (well, anyone from Rohan…I want to live in Rohan…*begins daydreaming*)
*snaps back to attention* Wait, the Hobbit? Letโ€™s just say…the book is a marvel, and while I liked the movies ok, they botched some bits. Not enough dialogue! Seriously, if youโ€™re going to add stuff, use that time to develop the characters, not give us stupid troll-with-stone-block-on-head-bashing-into-wall action or Legolas moves that really belong in an action movie. Just sayinโ€™. *whistles blithely*
Favorite Hobbit characters: Fili and Kili, Bilbo, Bard (the way I picture him, not the way he is in the movies), Smaug (of course), and Galadriel (again)
After reading about the amount of work they put into the LOTR movies, I CANโ€™T bash them. They spent 14 months shooting those movies, where most films take 6-12 weeks. And the insane amount of detailing (on costumes and weapons) that you and I will never notice is just…
Ok, LotR rant over…sorry everyone…I just HAD to defend them, you see? ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Realized I used โ€œbashโ€ four times in that rant…. *headdesk*

Best character(s): Frodo and Sam all the way.

Best location: Erebor… I would gladly be a dwarf just to live there. Caves, mines, gigantic furnaces, gigantic halls, all made out of impenetrable rock… PERFECT!!

Best battle: Battle of Minis Tirith in Return of the King.

@supermonkey42 I’d want to be a hobbit and live in the Shire ๐Ÿ™‚ The Shire is so peaceful (until you put the Baggins and Sacksville-Baggins in the same room together. Then the Shire becomes more of a nightmare). And you can eat and read pretty much all you want. *daydreaming*

Hmmmm… Best battle? There’s so many! I suppose I must agree with you, though. ย The Battle of Minis Tirith was awesome ๐Ÿ˜‰

@epicaddie2 Yeah, the shire would be really cool, but Iโ€™d probably end up as a Took and go adventuring. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I forgot about the books! Dwarves donโ€™t really read books, do they? Hmm… that would be a problem.

@supermonkey42 Yeah, that would be a problem. Even if you did have books they’d get all dirty because dwarves live underground. *glances at books protectively* I wouldn’t bring any of my books into a dirty mine.
