@R-J-Wordsmith no idea what Wyvern is either but that’s a lovely prompt and I can definitely use it. Thanks. 🙂A wyvern is like a very small dragon, except its wings are attached to its arms, like a bat.

You wake up in the middle of the night to a strange beeping noise. Your phone lies on the table next to your bed, with four words flashing across the screen, thick and fuzzy through heavy static: ‘YOU ARE NOT ALONE’.
Your phone rings as you’re making your way downtown for a meeting scheduled for a small cafe at the end of the street. A muffled voice that sounds strangely like your best friend whispers ‘Stop right where you are.’

The door in the side of the mountain had been painted a bright new shade of pink.The door in in itself, was not unusual. However, the fact that it was standing by itself in the middle of a field was.
Not only had the gigantic mirror in the bathroom been pushed aside revealing a massive oaken door, but the door was open.
Or: The instant before the door was opened, it was still closed.
