    @jane-maree šŸ˜€ Really? That’s cool. I didn’t know that, at all. So I’m guessing my story about replicating and selling people’s voices would fit into sci-fi, too? ;D *gaze lights up*

    The ending! It was… really, really impressive and awesome. I think it almost turned ME into an Epic.

    I’m hoping Skyward is kind of a thematic sequel to Reckoners, and that’s going to be sci-fi, too. Have you heard about Skyward? It’s going to about a girl, and her spaceship…plus aliens šŸ˜€

    @sam-kowal hmm yes probably. It depends if it’s in a contemporary/dystopian/futuristic sort of setting.

    SAME THOUGH. Agh. So epic.

    Ooh yes yes that would be amazing. Have you read The Rithmatist?

    @jane-maree šŸ˜€ XD Okay. It’s set in the Kingdom Pen universe world right now, actually, like Legend of King Daeus and What Stan and I Did on Christmas….

    I haven’t read the Rithmatist, yet, but I’m panting and drooling to. (I promise I’m not a dog though. I think.) One of my friends has a copy and is reading it… so I’m waiting for them to finish.

    Have you read the Stormlight Archive, by the way? Those are completely different thematically from the Reckoners

    @sam-kowal aw cool.

    WELL PERFECT TIMING FOR THAT QUESTION. I actually just finished reading The Way of Kings a few days ago and I’m planning on starting Words of Radiance soon. I don’t normally read epic fantasy books so I was reluctant to try these ones but @hope and my sisters ganged up and convinced me to give them a shot. And I’m absolutely loving it so far. <3

    @jane-maree *wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

    The Stormlight Archive is my favorite series šŸ˜€

    The Way of Kings completely wrapped me up in a highstorm when I first read it. The world of Roshar, with the highstorms and landscapes and animals and Shardblades and rechargable-battery gems felt like fantasy perfection. Plus Kal. Kal, and Shal, and Dal. šŸ˜€ Wonderfulness.

    Words of Radiance is amazing, too. All the stuff from Way of Kings intensifies by a hundred, it feels like. The backstory in it is pretty dark, which can make it feel heavy at times. But its also enthralling.

    Then there’s Oathbringer. šŸ˜€ I still haven’t completely come down from the height that was Oathbringer.

    @sam-kowal Arghh yessss. I started Words of Radiance last night and so far I’m loving it too. *lots of flailing*

    Kal, Shal, and Dal though. XD That cracked me up. Kal is definitely my favourite though. *hugs the precious bridgeboy* xP

    @jane-maree There’s not many characters I like more than Kal. šŸ˜€ He’sĀ storming wonderful. That chapter in Way of Kings with Amaram and the Shards… *starts banging head onto table and clenching fists* …was rather moving.

    XD It’s funny how they all rhyme like that. Their names could be a poem

    Don’t even talk to me about that chapter.

    I’m still in feels denial.

    @jane-maree XD So am I. There’s some cool things later on that help to lessen the pain of it, too

    @sam-kowal @jane-maree *runs in panting* I hear the word “Reckoners,” I come running. šŸ˜€ I just finished Calamity yesterday. I’m still in the wandering-around-in-a-book-daze faze. *flailing* *book dazed-ness*

    But not without regard for the double negative!

    @daughteroftheking šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€ XD I know that phase. Where you’re half still there, in the world of the book, gasping and flailing. Calamity is especially strong in that aspect. Where you can’t believe what just happened. The ending is like….*eyes wide with mouth open*

    šŸ˜€ The Reckoners was really an awesome series.

    *spoilers for Calamity ahead for anyone scrolling through here*

    @daughteroftheking @jane-maree There was one thing I couldn’t figure out at the end of Calamity. How did Mizzie end up with her powers? Do either of you know?

    @daughteroftheking oh my word yes isn’t it awesome?? *throws confetti*

    @sam-kowal…to be entirely honest I don’t even remember what Mizzy’s power was. O-O

    @jane-maree @sam-kowal Hmm… I don’t know how Mizzy got superpowers either. I’m pretty sure the book never says what they were. *scratches head contemplatively*

    Fav characters anyone? Mine was Cody. I now understand that my computer works because of the wee fairies livin’ in it. xD

    @daughteroftheking *strokes chin* No idea…

    Ooh favourite characters? Hmm…Cody was pretty funny. Mizzy was good. Tia was pretty cool. David was also good (and his metaphors/similes are the most genius things ever XD)….I don’t know if I can pick.
