@ClaireC How did you do today? I was only able to spend 2 hours, but it was the best quiet time I’ve had in a while. I’ve been working on actively talking to God, and not letting my mind drift and get distracted; and today I was finally able to do it, and it was awesome. (Terrible sentence structure, but oh well.) And I did do the Bible challenge today, @bluejay. I hope today was the day I was supposed to do it. 🙂
@Bluejay yes I did. I got to read 3 chapters in Isaiah. 🙂

I may try this sometime. Great idea! I’ve been trying to read my Bible every morning, and I usually don’t have time to read a lot during the daytime, so I guess this is already working for me. Again, awesome idea!!! 🙂A dreamer who believes in the impossible...and dragons. (INFJ-T)

This sounds like an awesome challenge! I think I’m going to try it, and it will be sort of hard since I just bought two fiction books about two days ago…But I think this will help me learn to deny myself and to set aside more time for the Lord, the time He deserves. @sarah-h, How have you been going? I haven’t been doing well for a while, but am doing a little better now. I spent an hour this morning and read 13 chapters, plus some prayer/quiet time. So I’m quite happy with that.

@ClaireC Actually, I’ve been doing pretty terribly too; today was the first day in a while that I was able to really focus and not get distracted (or fall asleep). I read the book of James. That’s such a great book; I had forgotten how much it covers.
@sarah-h. Great! I suppose we just need to keep striving through the Lord’s strength. It’s nice to be able to do it with someone else!
