@devastate-lasting Yeah, for both the drawings of the boy, I started with the eyes (and was quite impressed at my mirror-image for the front-on one – I usually draw 3/4 angle). The girl on the couch I did start with eyes, but it was too big, so I did the body first instead.Currently reading Les Miserables

The tricky thing is the hair, and making it look the same style in the different angles. I did the first one first, where he’s looking over his shoulder, then I had to figure out how that would relate to looking face-on.

Hi there everyone! I’m a new manga/anime artist on the forum, and I thought I’d share a couple of my pieces.😊 I have a lot of trouble staying on track as an artist, because I’m always writing instead, but these are a couple of my works:

This is a design for one of my characters that I’m working on. He’s nowhere near finished, though😅. I’m hoping to have a whole section on my website (when I manage to finally crack down and get it web worthy to put up) devoted to art of my characters. I think that’d be fun! I love your idea of making clean manga! I would also love to do this with my WIP novel series too!
And your drawings are soooo good! I love the mask on the first guy (or is it a tattoo?) And the pose of the third one with the girl makes me feel so wistful and mysterious! And the coloured one is just downright gorgeous! Love how you had all the characters together in the second one, too. (Specially the bunny ears peace sign😉)

How did you learn to draw?
Also, Heroic Legend of Arslan looks like a really cool novel series. Do you recommend?
